Nearly ready to rant ;( – Why are we offended by Miley Cyrus? Why aren’t you offended by Robin Thicke? Or his filth “Blurred Lines”? Why would some of you entertain MTV as viable entertainment for a family or a “Christian”. Conformity starts in your mind. These teeny boppers are a dime a dozen, setting your children up, building an industry of music, t-shirts, then drugs, sex, and insanity. This is a trend that doesn’t seem to be ending. But we as a society are FEEDING off of it. So many of you are talking about it, but NO one has mentioned Egypt. Did you know, the Muslim Brotherhood has destroyed the OLDEST CHURCH in the WORLD. Not just some old building. But that isn’t news. People want to pick and choose to be offended. I am offended that so many people choose to be offended, by the choice that a person made. That is their own decision and honestly hasn’t affected you at all. MTV has made and entire business of creating material that offends and draws people in. Be ye not conformed to this world! Stand for Christ, represent Love, Praise God and his Son, Thank you God for your Salvation!

An old pastor of mine said that Viacom (the owner at the time of Nickelodeon and MTV), shows that kids when they are little watch Nick Jr., then Nick itself, then in their teen years MTV. And he thought that was Viacom’s goal: to start out innocent and draw them to the trash stuff later. What a shame.
